Lady Gaga dog shooting suspect released due to ‘administrative error’

James Howard Jackson, 19, is accused of shooting Ryan Fisher with a handgun during an attempted kidnapping of Lady Gaga’s French Bulldogs in 2021 near Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Jackson was released last April due to an “administrative error,” the US Delegates Service (USMS) admitted this week, describing him as armed and dangerous.

Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the search for Jackson, one of three accused of attempted murder and robbery at the time of the attack.

According to police, the motivation of the walker attack suspects was not because of their known owner, but because they are a desirable breed and can be sold for thousands of dollars.

Two suspects got out of the car and forced Fischer to hand over his pets at gunpoint. After the young man was shot during the melee, the men fled with their two dogs, Koji and Gustav.

The third animal, Miss Asia, fled the scene before returning to Fischer with serious injuries.

Two days after the robbery, a 50-year-old woman handed over two missing pets to the police.
