Lately, Ferrari’s blacklist has expanded – this time, the Italian brand has banned the Kardashian family from buying the “Rampant Cavallino” model. According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, no explanation was given why the American family could not buy more cars.

Automotive brands face the challenge of managing their image, and they don’t want to risk their reputation if they don’t know where to direct their communication. Among other things, it can harm the future of your business as well as sales. In the particular case of Ferrari, its cars can cost hundreds of thousands of euros, and potential customers usually don’t have financial problems but are usually quite demanding, so a bad image can be an insurmountable mistake.

The Karsashians aren’t the only “scratched” Ferrari personalities. Discover other cases:

Justin Bieber – in the case of the Canadian singer, irresponsible attitude was the main reason that the Italian brand considers him a bad example. A few years ago, he was driving his Ferrari 458 drunk to the point where he forgot where he parked — he spent weeks looking for the car, even though he thought it might have been stolen. In addition, he made several modifications to other models he owned, which the Italians found unpleasant and vulgar, so they decided not to sell them anymore.

Nicolas Cage. The actor had a conflict with the Cavallino brand when he bought a Ferrari Enzo. After some time, he decided to sell the car due to economic problems. The problem was that he did it for a price much less than what it cost him, a gesture the brand didn’t like very much.

Floyd Mayweather. If Bieber’s example was anything punctual, then the opposite is happening with the boxer. He is considered a bad example both because of his toxic lifestyle and his behavior.

50 Cent – In the case of the American rapper, there are two reasons why Ferrari turned him down as a client. On the one hand, the recording of some videos of him cleaning his Ferrari with champagne, on the other hand, some criticism of the brand on social networks, especially through Instagram – the claims in question were related to one of their cars, when in fact the problem was lack of communication.

Tyga – The rapper has a reputation for not paying his bills. He usually buys cars through rent, but then there comes a point when he stops paying, as happened in 2012 with the Ferrari 458 Spider.

Deadmau5 – Singer Joel Thomas Zimmerman had a disagreement with the brand in 2013 that has since banned him from buying one of their cars – the fault lies in how he adjusted his Ferrari 458 Spider, which was adorned with an animated design graphic. Nyam Cat, and the vehicle was given the name Purrari. A detail that the Italian brand did not forgive and demanded that the car be returned to its original state. Faced with the artist’s rejection, future sales were denied.
