Actor Justin Theroux accused his neighbor of domestic abuse for the second time in an ongoing court battle with the man.
Theroux claims that the lawyer and neighbor downstairs, Norman Resnicow – who has been with him in a bitter war for three years – on four occasions since corona virus lockdown has verbally abused his wife Barbara, according to the New Manhattan Supreme Court newspaper.
Resnicow can in various ways call himself “stupid,” “stupid,” idiot, “and” irresponsible Nazi Trump, “the court newspaper said.
The March 22 fight was triggered by Resnicow’s anger that Barbara was not wearing a mask. Resnicow locked it outside their apartment while shouting, “You are locked,” the court file said.
During the May 3 dispute, Resnicow – angry that Barbara was outside – shouted, “I will break your teeth. No, you are sitting in the front seat … do you want a broken tooth?” Court documents say.
A loud fight – recorded by Theroux – was so worrisome that he called 911 three times.
During the May 3 tirade Resnicow said something “very demeaning [Barbara’s] that person, rather than repeating it here, [Theroux] respectfully refer the Court to the recording, which speaks for itself, “the court papers said.
Theroux wants the judge to insult Resnicow for violating a court order that he did not intimidate, threaten, or harass any witnesses in the lawsuit – including Barbara. Theroux is seeking a prison sentence or a fine against Resnicow.
“The loud explosion of Lawyer Resnicow has not only jeopardized Mrs. Resnicow’s ability to give honest and unrestrained testimony in this action, but has scared other House residents into being targeted,” the new court newspaper said.
In February 2019, Theroux accused Resnicow of yelling at his wife so violently that he called 911 and three days later Barbara was seen with black eyes.
Theroux suing Resnicow in 2017 accusing him of conducting a harassment campaign that began when the actor “Leftovers” – who lives with wife Jennifer Aniston – started a $ 1 million renovation in his West Village condominium.
