Benfica, the current national champion among juniors and the leader of the South zone, lost to Alverca with a score of 7:3.

In the 6th minute, Ribatejo’s team was already winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Jaime Jr. and David Polito. Shortly after half an hour of play, Mario Tudose replaced the Reds, who shortly thereafter conceded a penalty that would have led to a draw.

More productive from the penalty mark was Alverca, who reached 3-1 (Evandro) from the penalty spot, bringing the game to half-time.

Almost opening the second half, Gustavo Varela returned to shortening the distance. Soon after, Mario Tudose was sent off for accumulating yellow cards and the number of heads was reduced to ten.

Benfica still managed to equalize on Gustavo Varela’s penalty in the 66th minute, but Alverca scored four unanswered goals after that.

In the 73rd minute, again from the penalty mark, Evandro scored twice to put Ribatejo back in front of the marker.

In the 77th minute, Ivan Lima was also sent off and Benfica started playing at nine, further contributing to the uneven outcome that had taken place.

In the 87th minute, Pedro Pato increased the score to 5-3, Duarte Carreira signed the sixth result with 90 + 4m, and a minute later Janixon set the final result of 73 in favor of Alverca, who remains in 2nd place with 30 points, by two less. more than leaders Benfica and three more than Sporting, who have one less game.
