July patch for Samsung Galaxy S10 causes camera issues

If you own a Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, you might be advised to wait a while before installing the company’s latest July update. Several users report that the latest update is causing some problems with it.

According to the portal SlashGearand later confirmed The company itself reports that the July update from Samsung for the Galaxy S10 model contains a bug that, under certain conditions, could prevent the use of the front camera and 3D flight time sensor.

According to reports, the vast majority of issues are found on devices in South Korea, where the company first started rolling out the latest update. Problems range from random errors when opening the camera to crashes when capturing content.

In addition, there are even reports that the device heats up abnormally, and the battery has a significantly higher consumption than in previous updates.

A moderator on Samsung’s support forums says the company is already looking into the situation, but there are no plans yet to stop providing users with the July patch – something that is still being done.
