Ivan Lins’ participation in Caldeirão with Mion sparked comments online about a possible political demonstration. The singer performed the song Novos Tempos on the stage of the attraction this Saturday (15) and the improvisation at the end made twitters identify the message against President and candidate Jair Bolsonaro (PL).

In the Sobe o Som segment, in which the artists have to guess the song the band is playing, Marcos Mion celebrated a lot by announcing the number of Ivan Lins. The singer performed a song on keyboards, which a few minutes earlier had been performed by comedian Eduardo Sterblich.

At the end, Lins mixed an excerpt from Chico Buarque’s “Despite You” and ad-libbed: “Despite You, Tomorrow Will Be… A New Time.” Some viewers who followed the presentation thought it was a political message.

“Ivan Lins sent a great message!” Suellen wrote. “Ivan Lins placed the protest in Caldeirao or did it seem to me?” Carolina Souza asked. “Ivan Lins is sending a beautiful indirect message to Bozo now in Caldeirao,” commented another user.
