An Italian man who wanted a Covid-19 vaccination certificate without being vaccinated has adopted an unusual strategy in Italy. At the clinic, he tried to trick a nurse with a fake hand – showing the top of a silicone arm prosthesis – hoping that she would not notice the tampering and would inject the vaccine on the same prosthesis.

The story took place this week and has already been reported by international media such as a newspaper. Washington Post, information Agency Reuters and the station Nbc

The said man, who will be 57 years old and who will work as a dentist, is an anti-axer, that is, he is part of a group of people who are suspicious of the effectiveness and safety of vaccines against the new coronavirus. – and will show a nurse in Biella (northern Italy) a silicone prosthesis “very similar” to a real hand.

This information was confirmed by the governor of the Italian region of Piedmont, Alberto Sirio, who said (cited by Reuters) that the color and texture of the prosthesis “were considered suspicious” by the nurse who was in charge of his vaccination. Because of these suspicions, this healthcare professional, Philippe Bois, asked the patient to show her his entire hand, which revealed the fraudulent attempt.

This was also reported by the medical worker herself in her statements to the Italian media. For the Corriere della Sera, for example, Philippe Bois explained that when she opened the hand of this anti-axer, she felt that the skin was too “cold and sticky” and the color was “too light.”

At first, the nurse thought that the man’s arm had been amputated and that he was simply mistaken in offering him a real prosthesis for vaccination. When Philippe Bois realized the fraud, she consulted an Italian dentist. He even tried to convince her to illegally issue him a vaccination certificate that would allow him to enter premises such as restaurants, concert halls, bars and clubs in the country (now with exclusive access to vaccinated), but Philippe Bois refused.

Although the method used by the Italian dentist to obtain a vaccination certificate (no vaccination) is ludicrous, it is also “extremely serious”, as defended by Alberto Sirio, governor of the Italian region of Piedmont. The unusual situation could even lead to criminal prosecution of this Italian anti-virus.
