This week Apple opened his new “pearl in the crown” to the world: iPhone 13 family… In addition to the appearance changes, the iPhone 13 promises improved performance and shooting capabilities. But that’s not all: in addition to the Mini model, there is room for two more “equipped” versions, which are considered the most “professional” in history.

As usual with any Apple launch, the wait is high, and with smartphone pre-bookings starting today at 1:00 pm (Lisbon time), Apple has closed the door to a portion of the online store to prepare everything for internet users.

Please note what appeared when trying to access the iPhone 13 pricing section in the Portuguese version of the Apple Online Store.

iPhone 13: What’s the news for Apple’s new crown jewel?

For added screen protection, iPhone 13, which comes in pink and blue of the five available colors, has a new ceramic glass that makes it more resistant to dust and water. The screen of the new smartphone is 28% brighter thanks to Retina Display technology. It has a 1200 nits screen for the base model and 800 nits for the iPhone 13 Mini.

According to Apple, the interior of the smartphone has been redesigned to include more technology and a larger battery. Inside the hardware is a new 5nm A15 Bionic processor with six cores. The two cores are designed to improve performance, which promises to be 50% faster. The GPU has four cores and Apple points out that it is 30% faster than other models.

The new processor also supports a module with two 12MP cameras, one of which is ultra-wide angle. On the video front, Apple is following the same strategy as last year, offering tools to create cinematic-looking videos, with two models shooting at 4K and 60 FPS.

The models support 5G connectivity with the promise of improved antennas and related components for improved speed, coverage and battery life. As for the autonomy of the equipment, the company emphasizes a longer lifespan with an additional 2.5 hours of battery life compared to the previous model.

When it comes to the Pro and Pro Max models, the main difference is the triple camera module on the back. Apple emphasizes four colors, with luxurious finishes and metallic ceramics.

The front panel of the Pro models has been redesigned with a smaller notch and protection that gives the screen more stability. The Pro models display 1000 nits of Super Retina XDR and ProMotion technology that can cool down from 10Hz to 120Hz when used for higher capacity or battery saver.

The battery life is the same, 2.5 hours longer than its previous models. Apple also said it has dropped plastic packaging. LiDAR technology continues to be present in new models.
