iPhone 13 can go the same way as “12”! Postponement?

In case you didn’t know, Apple had serious difficulties developing and manufacturing its current iPhone 12 lineup last year, all due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the industry. This clearly led to a slight delay in launch and subsequent availability of all models.

What this year the North American giant wants to avoid at all costs! But you may not be lucky.

iPhone 13 can go the same way as “12”. Delay on the way?

So, even though I was very careful and did everything in my power to avoid delays, including having an adequate supply of all major components well in advance of production … At the last minute, unforeseen events occurred. Which ultimately can have a very serious impact on production lines.

In the end, Apple itself confirmed that it was in trouble with the chip crisis, which, at least until now, it has never done. Tim Cook said the problem is not Apple’s manufacturing, but manufacturing the necessary chips for the device’s screen or speakers. Demand remains extremely high and therefore Apple is having difficulty supplying such “parts”.

In addition, TSMC had an accident at one of the most important factories, Fab 18.

This is where the semiconductor giant makes its most advanced ICs, and appears to be where the chips for the new iPhones and MacBooks are made. What happened? Well, it looks like TSMC received some kind of contaminated raw material that ruined part of the production.

Of course, TSMC has already publicly stated that it does not expect major consequences for the general scheme of things, but this is something that, combined with the manufacturing crisis, could affect the change in the release date of the new iPhone line.

Besides, what do you think of all this? Will Apple be forced to postpone the release of the iPhone 12?
