After months of much talked about, October 5 last year and Microsoft Finally made available your new operating system, Windows 11… As before, updating Windows 10 to the new version is free, and therefore it has delighted millions of users around the world.

It turns out that many users were unhappy with the new version and now they are stuck in an operating system that, as usual, still has many bugs and some shortcomings, including performance. Good news? You can go back to Windows 10 without formatting your computer or losing any information.

How to upgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10

The rollback process is very simple and allows you to keep all your files and data on your system. Just follow these steps on Windows 11:

  • Start> Settings> System> Recovery.
  • Click Revert to a Previous Version of Windows.
Select the reason for uninstalling Windows 11 from the options provided.
  • The next window will ask you to check for updates; click No thanks.
  • After several prompts for Next, click the Revert to Windows 10 button (to downgrade).

That’s all, however, you should keep in mind that this process only works for ten days after installing a new operating system. After this period, the ability to return to Windows 10 without any loss will disappear. From there, you will need to do a clean install, which means that you need to back up all your information and reinstall everything again.
