Just one game away from an incredible $557,000 (€526 million) win, this player had a moment of thought on Saturday and decided to take the opportunity to “cash out”. A formula that allows players to close their bet before it ends, guaranteeing a reduction in profits. In this case, for Daniel Forte, this meant earning “only” 283 thousand dollars (268 million euros).

But there was a problem. The FanDuel app he gambled on was not available in Nevada, forcing him to travel 700 kilometers between Las Vegas and Arizona to personally collect the money owed to him.
