IFTM opens registration for courses for foreigners who want to have Portuguese as an additional language Jornal da Manhã

Registration is open for Selective Process for the online course “Portuguese as an Additional Language (PLA)” offered by the Triangulo Mineiro Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology (IFTM). Deadline ends December 30th. Candidates will be selected based on the number of vacancies through a public lottery. Classes will be held in the 1st semester of 2023.

Registration is free and is done by email: selecaointernacional@iftm.edu.br with the name “REGISTER – BEGINNERS KNOW 2023 + STUDENT’S NAME”.

Candidates of any nationality, except Brazilians, interested in learning Portuguese as an additional language, aged 13 and over, regardless of education and whether they are IFTM students, can apply for the entry level.

The following documents are accepted as identification documents: official identity cards; identity cards for foreigners issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; identification cards issued by orders or class councils that are legally valid as an identity document, as well as a national driver’s license with a photo and a passport.

Applicants who send an email with all required documentation will be screened. Validation will be carried out by the General Coordination of the IFTM Center for Languages ​​and International Relations, who will publish a list containing the names of candidates with confirmed registration, January 4, 2023, from 9:00, on page https://iftm.edu.br/internacional/acoes/editais/ .

The institution warns that the presence of a name in the list of candidates with confirmed registration does not mean the classification of the candidate, since this classification will depend on the draw, which will take place on January 6, 2023 at 15:00. The candidate will be able to watch the draw which will be recorded and a link will be posted on the website.
