After booing and shouting for ex-president Lula (PT) during show in El Salvador (BA)singer Claudia Leitte improvised a political speech while performing at a pre-carnival event in Aracaju (SE) this Sunday (6).

Against the backdrop of rapping, the singer said, “There is room for everyone in this world. (…) And I don’t like it, I don’t want to ever leave. I don’t think differently than you, I want love, I want peace.”

And he corrected himself in sequence: “And that’s why I won’t shout what everyone wants me to shout, I will shout what God tells me to say, no matter if you think what you want, because I don’t live to please.”

Leitte went on to state that the most appropriate symbol he could make with his own hands was a heart.

At a concert in El Salvador on Friday (4), fans booed the Bolsonarist singer, interrupting the song to glorify the name of Lula (PT). While singing “Chame Gente”, the audience began making the “L” sign with their hands and shouting out the traditional PT choir. She countered the demonstrations by stating that everyone lives in a democracy and that she will be there to serve the community.
