Huawei launches new Matebook 14, D14, Matebook 16s and 16D laptops
Along with the Huawei MateBook 16s and MateBook D16 laptops and the new MateBook SE display, the Chinese company has also launched two other laptop models in its country, the Huawei MateBook 14 2022 and Huawei MateBook D14 2022.
BUT Huawei launched new laptops in two sizes to the Chinese market screen 16 inches and 14 inches.
O Huawei Matebook 16s As the name suggests, the laptop features a 16-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a screen resolution of 2520 x 1680 pixels, 3:2 aspect ratio, 300 nits brightness and 1500:1 contrast ratio, and support for 100% sRGB color gamut.
Inside, the device is equipped with 12th generation Intel Core H series processors, from Core i5-12500H to Core i9-12900H. There is no dedicated GPU, but the graphics are handled by an Intel Iris Xe GPU.
In terms of memory, the laptop model is equipped with 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and offers two internal storage options – 512GB or 1TB NVMe PCI. It feeds on drums 84 Wh and comes with a 135 W charger in the box.
O Huawei MateBook 16 s it costs 6,999 yuan (about 979 euros) for the Core i5 model, while the Core i7 model costs 7,999 yuan (about 1,119 euros). The flagship model based on the Core i9 processor costs 9,999 yuan (about 1,398 euros).
On the other side, Huawei MateBook Dsixteen has a 16-inch screen but offers a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a maximum brightness of 300 nits, 100% sRGB coverage, and a contrast ratio of 1200:1.
The device is equipped with Intel Core i5-12500H or Intel Core i7-12700H processors along with Intel Iris Xe graphics. In terms of memory, there’s 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB of NVMe PCIe storage. It is powered by a 60W battery and comes with a 65W charger in retail packaging.
The Huawei MateBook D16 costs 5,699 yuan (about 797 euros) for the Core i5 model, while the Core i7 model costs 6,699 yuan (about 937 euros). This model is already available for pre-order in the Chinese market and will go on sale from June 6th.

According to the specs, as the name suggests, the Huawei MateBook 14 2022 features a 14-inch touchscreen with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels, as well as a 3:2 aspect ratio, 300 nits of brightness, and a contrast ratio. 1500:1.
Inside, the device is equipped with a 12th generation Intel Core i7-1260P or Intel Core i5-1240P processor. Like the 16-inch models, this one also features an Intel Iris Xe GPU and is not a dedicated processor. In terms of memory, the laptop packs 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB of NVMe storage. The device is powered by a 56Wh battery and supports 65W charging.
The 2022 Huawei MateBook 14 costs 6,099 yuan (about 852 euros) for the Core i5 model, while the Core i7 model costs 6,999 yuan (about 978 euros).
On the other side, Huawei MateBook D14 2022 features a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD, 16:9 aspect ratio, 300 nits brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 100% sRGB coverage.
Other than the display, everything else remains the same. Matebook 14, including a choice of processors, RAM, storage, battery and charger in the box. The Huawei MateBook D14 costs 5,299 yuan (about 740 euros) for an Intel Core i5-1240P processor, while the model with an Intel Core i7-1260P processor costs 5,999 yuan (about 838 euros).
At the moment we have no information about its global release, but it should be soon.
