For the fifth time in several years, Adrian Peterson tried to shed his big house in Texas. The magnificent plantation has only reached a market of $ 4.5 million – $ 4 million which is very low from the initial asking price and about half a million of what the runaways paid in 2013.

This property stretches nine acres in Woodlands, a planned parent community north of Houston, about two hours drive from Palestine, where Peterson grew and played high school football.

With gates and landscaping, this 10,500-square-foot mansion was approached by a dramatic motor court with a fountain in the center. Inside are seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms and several formal public spaces and luxury amenities.

A wrought-iron staircase swept across the porch, while a crown mold sounded the living room with glass walls and one of five fireplaces. Elsewhere, there are brick kitchens, a two-story library, wine cellar, cinema, and game room with wet bars.

Upstairs, the main room includes a rotunda-style sitting room, a bathroom under a ceiling tray and a double cupboard. The covered terrace overlooks the backyard, where a swimming pool and spa are next to a column-lined terrace with a fireplace. The road winding through an area filled with trees behind the plantation.

Beth Cassidy from Douglas Elliman holds the list.

Peterson, a Pro Bowler seven times, spent the first 10 years of his prince career with the Minnesota Vikings, winning the NFL’s most valuable player award in 2012, before serving with the New Orleans Saints, Arizona Cardinals and, the last two seasons, with the Washington Redskins. He set a record for hurried yards in a game in 296 in 2007 against the San Diego Chargers.
