Ryan Hudson, co-founder of Honey’s online coupon aggregator, has bought a house in Hollywood Hills for $ 3.65 million. There is no news yet about whether the coupon code is applied during closing.

The sleek Modern Midcentury residence, built in 1964, captures extensive views through segmented window walls that line the front and back. Designed by Vernon F. Duckett, this 4,000-square-foot house has a 27-foot ceiling, open beams and stone floors. Antique fireplaces with copper hoods are shared by updated kitchens and living rooms.

The lofted living room and office room face downstairs. The master suite has a floating tub that features views of the garden. In total, there are three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Outside, this one-third-acre property has a decking overlooking the rocky pool and spa. Lush landscaping, parks and statues fill this land.

The property hit the market last year for the first time in nearly 40 years and most recently was listed for $ 3,895 million, records show.

Alphonso Lascano and Bjorn Farrugia from Hilton & Hyland are listing agents. John Davenport and Duncan Watson from Compass represented Hudson.

Hudson launched Honey, which offers free extensions for various web browsers that combine discount codes for online retailers, in 2012 with co-founder George Ruan. Its parent company, Honey Science Corp. based in Los Angeles, was acquired last year by PayPal ownership in a $ 4 billion deal.
