TV producer Barry Poznick – MGM Studios executive whose credits include “Beat Shazam” and “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” – has registered his house in Manhattan Beach for $ 5,899 million.
That’s about $ 1.7 million more than he paid in 2014, real estate records show.
Poznick has been busy in the area this year, buying nine larger street homes for $ 6.75 million in April and selling beach condos in Playa del Rey to Lakers owner Jeanie Buss for $ 2.6 million in January.

Located three blocks from the beach, this one covers more than 4,000 square feet and attracts the eye with a wooden shingle exterior and white finish. A tombstone terrace is next to the house, which opens to a bright open floor plan with a large room and a tiled kitchen.
Four bedrooms fill the second floor, and at the top, the main bedroom has sliding house doors, domed ceilings, a fireplace and a spa bathroom that opens onto a private terrace. On the other side of the house, an office with built-in extends to a larger deck with sea views.

After joining MGM Studios in 2016, Poznick was named president of an alternative and unscripted television company last year. As a producer, his last credits include “Meet Frasers,” TKO: Total Knock Out “and” Signed. “
