Zach Pollack, chef and owner of Los Angeles restaurants, Alimento and Cosa Buona, has put his home in Silver Lake on the market at a price of $ 1.455 million. And it seems he has gotten at least one bite; the two updated floors are currently listed as “accepting reserve offers,” according to the Dual Listing Service.

Designed for indoor entertainment, this charcoal-colored house has nine foot bag doors that open the living room to the front porch. Motorized tents cover the space by pressing a button.

Inside, this 1,740-square-foot plan has a dining room, family room / work space, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with high-class equipment.

Outside, bougainvillea flowers that bloom cover the terraced dining terrace. Gardens on the hillside, outdoor fireplaces with Tuscan grills, decking and landscaping fill the grounds.

Barry Gray of Deasy Penner Podley holds the list.

As a native Angeleno, Pollack honed his skills in Italy before returning to the US to work with Michelin starred chef David Myers. He opened Alimento in 2014 and was nominated for the award for best star chef James Beard Foundation this year the following year. In 2017, he opened the Cosa Buona pizza restaurant neighborhood.
