Here are the first couples from Love Happens.

This Sunday, July 4th, TVI’s new reality show “O Amor Happened” premiered. The program aims to bring people who do not know each other together in four dream houses, in Serra, Praia, Moinho and Campo, to see if love happens within a week! Submitted by Pedro Teixeira e Maria Serqueira Gomes, the format started with 8 participants. Meet the couples below that have been split between four houses!

Beach house: James and catherine

Thiago was the first to enter the house and, concerned, called a friend to tell him what he expected from the new groom. This was when Katarina arrived at the house and surprised James. The young man showed Katharina the house, and they talked to get to know each other better. That’s when the student gave him a curious T-shirt! “Thank you TVI because Katarina is the hottest I’ve ever seen.” says the clothes, which also has a photo of a young woman speaking “love of my life”…

Thiago, 24, agronomist, Lisbon
He enjoys playing sports, going to bars and meeting people, cycling and fighting. The young man reveals: “I feel that I have not yet found a person who would complement me, and therefore I am single. If a person has qualities that I like, I fall in love easily. “ However, Thiago has a very specific pattern: growth from 1.60 to 1.68, green or blue eyes and beautiful teeth.

Catherine, 21, student and model, Vila Nova de Gaia
He studies communication and says he wants to find “the love of his life.” He has never met and thinks the show is an opportunity to meet someone. Katharina thinks she is difficult to deal with and is selective. “It should be more than 1.82,” said a young woman, 1.75 years old. Friendliness, charisma, sociability and striving for a life goal are other qualities that Katarina appreciated.

Casa da Serra: Jorge and Ide

They are the oldest couple to participate in the program that takes place in this dream home. Jorge received Ida with gifts and a letter with poetry in which she thanked and showed how much she liked it. They soon exchanged a first kiss, a gentle click, followed by an “Eskimo kiss.”

Jorge, 75, retired, Sintra
He has had 4 marriages, but he is single for 17 years. You are looking for a lasting relationship of a lifetime. At 75 years old, he is very well located: “I know I don’t look my age.”, he claims.

Ida, 64, retired nurse, Vila Real
Born in Minas Gerais, Brazil, lived in Portugal for 3 years. “I came from a very poor family”, – said Ida, who was kicked out of the house at the age of 14. He had two daughters, but one of them died when Ide was 28 years old. Joined the program looking for “Love for Life”…

Country house: Joana and Miguel

Joana was the first to come into the house and awaited Miguel’s arrival. They greeted each other with three kisses on the cheek, which is a custom in Switzerland. The common theme was the first theme of the two who spoke a little German. Then Miguel and Joana started talking about children when she talked about her desire to have three children. However, Miguel cannot have children – a secret that he has not yet revealed to Joana. “What if you couldn’t?”– asked Miguel, to which Joana said: “Only for a good reason, such as illness”…

Joana, 30, nanny, Zurich
He is from Vieira do Minho, but currently lives in Zurich, where he works in the family home. “I had a lot of disappointments, toxic relationships, I am very afraid of suffering.”said a young woman who has been single for 5 years and was already engaged but ended up breaking off the relationship before she tied the knot. “I hate stallions”Joana said.

Miguel, 43, businessman, Lamego
He lived in Switzerland for many years. He enjoys playing sports and standing with a paddle. “I was interested in several women, maybe hundreds.”– said the businessman, who showed that he had relationships with Spaniards, Americans, Italians, among other nationalities, but few with Portuguese women.

Mill House: Diogo and Claudia

Diogo was the first to come into the house and bring the groom a bouquet of flowers. Claudia soon appeared with a guitar on her shoulder and a volleyball on her arm. Upon arrival, the young woman stumbled upon a bouquet of flowers and knocked it to the ground, which triggered a funny moment between them.

Diogo, 21, student, Lisbon
He enjoys playing volleyball, walking in the park and listening to music. He claims that he rarely likes girls, and this is difficult to convince.

Claudia, 25, Customer Service Assistant, Caldas da Rainha
He enjoys singing, playing guitar and playing volleyball. “To win me over, you need to have a great sense of humor.”, said Claudia, who says her biggest fear is not living up to her groom’s expectations.
