Google TV is really fantastic. It has interface well executed and it gives us quick access to everything we are looking for. However, there is still room for improvement and obviously we will have big news soon. Unless Google TV will provide premium channels for free, but we’ll have to give something in return.

Google TV will give you premium channels for free, but there is a requirement!

Google TV supports several premium services such as Disney +, Netflix, HBO, Vodafone TV and many more. However, this will now give us even more, and we will be able to access premium channels, but in exchange for viewing ads.

The Protocol website reports and cites many industry sources that these channels are coming to Google TV very soon. However, they have the ability to work through advertising. After all, when there is a lot of charity, the poor fellow suspects, and therefore we always have to give something in return.

As for release dates, some sources point to news until December.

However, it is highly likely that it will only appear in 2020. However, these channels also need to reach ChromeCast.

It is not yet known which channels will be included and how everything will work. However, a new Live tab should appear in the main platform window. Even systems with external antennas can be used for this. This is undoubtedly curious. All indications are that this service will be supported mainly by advertising, and I believe that many people do not mind advertising in order to be able to access premium services for free.

It seems that many companies and even many channels do this. In fact, even in the case of Netflix, there has already been talk of the possibility of having a cheaper data plan, but with ads. However, this is something that is still in the box.

I’m honestly very curious to see how things work out. One thing is for sure, and when it comes to Google TV, the Android TV platform is truly exceptional. By the way, everyone who is a Vodafone customer and is experimenting with the Vodafone TV app is in for a pleasant surprise. It’s just that the app has been redesigned and we give you the experience in a box. I would also like to take this opportunity to leave a message for NOS, as it is one of the few European-level operators that did not bother to develop a mobile-only application for this platform. In Portugal, as in Vodafone, a MEO already there and NEW also.
