Google’s foldable device has been rumored for a while now, and it seems like it’s getting closer and closer to reality. The company is testing a new device, dubbed the “Pipit,” which should be the brand’s first foldable model to hit the market.

The device has undergone a few changes in recent months and has even been canceled internally, but it looks like Google will indeed bet on that in the future. Based on materials from the portal MySmartPriceRecently, a new test of the device was discovered in the Geekbench app, which not only reveals its performance, but also details the technical specifications.

According to the test, the model has an eight-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz, but peaks at 2.8 GHz, but the model is not yet known. It also has a Mali-G78 GPU and the same Tensor chip found in the Pixel 6 line.

The Pixel Fold also comes with 12GB of RAM, which, if confirmed, places this model in the premium lineup on the market. Versions up to 512 GB of memory are expected. As for the test itself, it scored 4811 points in single-core and 11349 points in multi-core.

Obviously, this estimate refers to a model that is still in production, so it can change as it is developed and the software adapts.
