Goldman Sachs Opens Sixth B&B in Portugal in Montijo and Wants to End Year 10 – Turismo & Lazer

Montijo will have a new hotel starting Monday. B&B Hotel Lisboa Montijo opened its doors today and is the sixth hotel in the French B&B Hotels group, which has been controlled by the North American bank Goldman Sachs since 2019.

The three-star hotel is located on Avenida João XXIII and has a total of 112 rooms, including singles, doubles and family rooms, the company said in a statement.

It is the sixth hotel of the chain in Portugal after the opening of hotels in Braga, Coimbra, Lisbon, Felgeiras and Setubal. B&B Hotels in Portugal have 662 rooms and 12 apartments in total. The group also has units under development in cities such as Oeiras, Sintra, Matosinhos, Ollán, Viseu or Viana do Castelo, with a global investment of € 70 million.
