Godfall Exclusive PlayStation 5 Trailer Ahead of Console Launch

Last week, Microsoft announced the price and release date for its Xbox Series X and S. While it made many Xbox fans happy, eyes were on Sony as fans waited for the PlayStation 5 to be announced. Luckily, they got their wish. PlayStation Showcase was announced on September 16th… Now, to create anticipation, Sony has revealed a new trailer for one of its exclusive projects.

Godfall debuted at a previous PlayStation Showcase event. The Marauder and Slasher RPG looked overwhelming and wowed the fans. It bore a striking resemblance to the name God of War due to its combat mechanics, but also brought in many more features. Take a look at the trailer below.

Godfall Battle Trailer for PlayStation 5

Sony also released a new Godfall action trailer a couple of hours ago. He demonstrated the movement of the game’s character in combat, various types of enemies and a cooperative mode. Take a look at this below.

This trailer also highlighted the ability of players to exploit enemy weaknesses, which will be useful in combat. It also featured an online PvE co-op mode in which players can tag along with up to 3 friends.

This announcement came at an interesting time, given that the hype is now directed at Sony. The Xbox made its move last week and now it’s Sony’s turn to do the same. This new Godfall trailer showcased the next generation PS5’s graphics capabilities. In addition, it gave additional incentive to potential PS5 buyers as it is only for the PlayStation. It only helped Sony’s case against Microsoft in the Console War. The game has also been announced for PC, with more details to be revealed at the PlayStation event on September 16.
