Last week PlayStation Confirmed The Release Of God Of War 2018 On PC… Although the news was very well received by the majority, the game quickly rose to the top of the Steam bestseller list. some consumers were “upset” by the loss of exclusivity.

At the time of the announcement, we have discovered some graphical tools that will be included in this release, but as expected, portability to the new platform is not being developed by Santa Monica Studio, the creator of the original game.

Sony Santa Monica Studio oversees portability, Ars Technica reports, but Jetpack Interactive is the studio making the PC version. Jetpack previously worked with Sony on the Orcs Must Die! For PS4! Liberated. The studio has also helped with several EA games in the past, including the NBA Live series and Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare II.

Sony officials have confirmed to Ars that this portability is “controlled” by its creators at Sony Santa Monica and managed by Jetpack Interactive, a Vancouver-based portability studio.

It is worth saying that Sony recently acquired Nixxes Studiowhich will focus entirely on the portability of PlayStation games to PC, however, the version of God of War had to be developed before the acquisition, so it had to be done by Jetpack Interactive.
