This rise comes in the week that oil follows its largest weekly rally since August. Diesel fuel has already risen in price by 21% since the beginning of the year, with an average annual price of 1.42 euros per liter today. The price of gasoline increased by 19%, an average of 1.61 euros per liter.

The new prices take into account the fluctuations in average prices practiced in Portugal this week and announced by the Directorate General of Energy and Geology (DGEG).
