After declining earlier this week, fuel prices are expected to continue to decline next Monday. Market sources confirmed to CNN Portugal (from the same TVI group) that diesel fuel will fall in price by 2 cents per liter, and gasoline by 1.5 cents per liter.

This drop means that the price of a liter of diesel should fall to 1.92 euros per liter, down 3 cents from two weeks ago, and the price of petrol should fall to about 1.805, down 7.5 cents from what it was before. the same period. It is worth noting that prices vary depending on the districts and gas stations, and it is likely that gas stations with prices above two euros will continue to be tested, namely in additive formulations.

Despite the decline in prices, diesel and gasoline continue to be sold at prices higher than those recorded before the start of the war, which provoked an energy crisis, namely an embargo on oil coming from Russia.

The Directorate General of Energy and Geology (DGEG) has online platform which allows consumers to select fuel type, region and municipality and thus see which gas station in their area offers the lowest prices.
