Ladoeiro and Amarens, who have guaranteed their promotion to Liga Placard over the weekend, have not gone through licensing and will be replaced by Torrines and Grupo Nun’Alvares in the top division of Portuguese futsal.

In a statement, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) announced an assessment of the licensing processes for the first divisions of futsal and women’s football, as well as for Ligue 3 and Liga Revelasao.

Ladoeiro from the municipality of Idanha-a-Nova, who was declared the country’s champion in the 2nd division on Sunday, did not fulfill the requirements for participation in the Placard League, as did the losing finalist Amarense from Batalha.

Thus, two places will be taken by Grupo Nun’Alvares from Fafi, who was knocked out by Ladoeiro in the semi-final of the competition for access to the competition, which will be contested by 14 clubs and reduced to 12 in 2022/23, and Torrines, who was sent off in the quarterfinals by the Fafense team.

In this process, which began in the 2020/21 season, 187 clubs submitted their candidatures for these competitions, with 126 emblems being licensed, and this number even includes those who did not have sports rights to participate in them.
