Basketball coach David Fizdale, who recently spent his tenure with the Memphis Grizzlies and the New York Knicks, began to take root in Southern California. Indigenous Australians recently bought a Mediterranean-style house in Calabasas for $ 2.25 million.

That’s about half a million embarrassments of the original asking price, records show.

Recently renovated, this two-storey house sits on a third of a hectare in Mountain View Estates. The white exterior and clay tile roof give the façade a Mediterranean feel, and inside, the updated living room features sleek black, white and gray shades.

Wrought iron touches the double entrances and stairs, and furthermore, the family room adds a special fireplace and wet bar. Other highlights include the kitchen in the center of the island and the living room under the arranged ceiling.

Around 6,200 square feet there are six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. Outside the room, the terrace lined up into a fenced backyard with a lawn, swimming pool and spa

Fizdale, 46, attended the University of San Diego and eventually became an assistant coach of the school basketball team before getting an NBA assistant role with the Warriors, Hawks and Heat, with which he won a pair of championships in 2012 and 2013. In 2018, he signed a four-year contract to become Knicks head coach but was fired in the middle of the second season.

Several different NBA players and coaches have landed at Calabasas in recent years. Mark Jackson placed his home in Mountain View Estates in the market at a price of $ 4.75 million in 2019, and earlier this year, the former number one chosen by Kenyon Martin registered his Tuscan-style venue for $ 3.599 million. In 2018, Chris Paul sold his home on a basketball court for $ 11.05 million.

Shore Behdin of Gold Star Realty Encino holds the listing. Mark Goldsmith from Coldwell Banker Realty represents the buyer.
