Baseball veteran James Loney, who was recruited by The Dodgers and spent seven seasons with the team, has a new home field at Chatsworth. Baseman first spent $ 2,863 million on a Tudor-style plantation on the northeast side of the neighborhood, according to records.

With an area of more than 9,000 square feet, this dramatic home is slightly larger than its old place, a place of 6,000 square feet in Poway which it sold in 2017 for $ 1,925 million.

This one sits on a two-hectare plot of land in the gated Monteria Estates. In addition to a six-bedroom house, nine bathrooms, there is a resort-style backyard with a stone swimming pool and spa, gazebo, billiard house, pavilion, and tennis court.

The tower and half wood attract attention to the exterior, and inside, white walls offset the dark hardwood floor. The dining room offers leaded glass windows and arched doors, while the kitchen uses special cabinets and concrete tables.

The most impressive room came in a large room, where beamed ceilings hung over a large stone fireplace and a wooden paneled wet bar. A deck lined the back of the house, and a terrace is below.

Loney, 36, was recruited by The Dodgers in 2002 and played for the team from 2006 to 2012 before carrying out duties with the Red Sox, Rays and Mets. In 11 seasons, he scored 108 home runs and 669 RBI.

Sara Gabriel from JSL Realty holds the listing. Jon Grauman from the Agency represents the buyer.
