Speaking to reporters, Mayor Fernanda Hassem said that Pedro Diego lacked the truth and that in the face of what she called “slander”, he said he would sue for his rights. According to her, the accusations put forward by the ex-prosecutor are ahead of political interests, contradict his mandate and the advancement of his brother Tadeu Hassem’s candidacy for state deputies.
