Milan’s €12m offer has already been rejected. The Argentine press is speculating on a €15 million offer.

Carlos Alcaraz is on Porto’s list of potential targets since OJOGO moved up on July 13, but until yesterday he had yet to submit any offer for the Racing midfielder, according to some of the Argentine press.

According to information collected by our newspaper in the country of the pampas, the dragons have so far made only some contact with the club in Avellaneda, whose president is currently on holiday in the US. However, interest should show up in the offer in the coming days, and among speculation, the Argentines point to figures of around 15 million euros. This is after the “Academia”, as the Alvi Celeste club is also known, allegedly refused the 12 million euros donated by Milan.

Regarded as one of Racing’s talents, 19-year-old Alcaraz fits the profile Porto conceived of to strengthen midfield: he prefers to work as a box-to-box, but is not limited to these functions. The midfielder’s contract runs until 2026 with a €25 million clause.
