Social media observers thought Ellen DeGeneres had danced her last dance after logging into Twitter Monday night to find out that hashtag #RIPEllen became a trend.

Don’t worry, E.D. not dead – the tweet reportedly refers to rumors last week that “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” might be stopped, which triggered a viral viral lie.

“Is Ellen dead or not? You are confusing me #ripellen, ” tweet one fans were confused amidst 62 fake comic reports and the talk show host had jumped off the roof of the house.

Other Twitterati mocked “late” entertainers with fake obituaries featuring photographs of various DeGeneres celebrity doppelgängers.

“#Ripellen fly high, angles, “Tweet one Twitter intelligence on the pic Jane Lynch character from “Glee.”

Another leader bearing the picture of Justin Bieber with the same tagline.

One social media comedian posted a photo of actress Kathy Bates with the statement, “the last photo #ripellen. “

The others uploaded Katy Perry’s photo with tag“I’m surprised, rest Ellen.”

Needless to say, this Emmy-winning entertainer has been feeling the heat lately with rumors circulating that the show is getting rid of in the middle of a downgrade.

And while the producer confirmed to The Post that that wasn’t the case, DeGeneres didn’t seem to be a talk show like he used to.

In March, comedian Kevin T. Porter launch a viral Twitter thread, calling on anyone who meets DeGeneres to respond with a “crazy” story about “evil Ellen.”
