A bicycle courier who after curfew was arrested on Thursday night in a viral video actually did the delivery – even though the NYPD claimed otherwise, representatives of the company he worked for told The Post.

But the application where he works, Caviar, said that was not true.
“Our records show that the courier made the shipment at night when the incident occurred,” a DoorDash spokesman, who owns Caviar, said in a statement.
This 19-second video clip shows the man screaming at the police while being stripped of an isolated and handcuffed shipping bag, a spectacle that swept nearly two million views on Indonesia.
“Are you serious!?” said the man when he was arrested, explaining that he could prove through Caviar that he was allowed to leave.
“I didn’t even do anything!” said the man.
“You broke the curfew,” answered a police officer.
“That tells me in the app that I can show you something! That tells me that I can show you that you can’t catch me! “
But the police ignored his request. After being questioned, the man was released without charge, the NYPD said.
The incident was criticized by Mayor Bill de Blasio, who tweeted the arrest was “unacceptable” and that he spoke about it with NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea.
“Just hung up with @NYPDShea after seeing a problematic video of a delivery worker who was arrested by the police while doing his work,” de Blasio tweet. “This is NOT accepted and must be stopped. Food delivery is important work and is prohibited from curfew. “
