Warring Nazi-Fascism and its programming of mass deaths, gas chambers, cremation ovens, and genetic experiments have brought to light the darkest aspects of human existence. Out of all this, in the midst of horror and bewilderment, arose the teaching that barbarism is not a conquered time in the history of mankind, but a reality that can be reinvented, repressed and manifested at any time in its inhuman and destructive.

This is the reason, on the contrary, why fifty-five nations, as history shows, came together to carve Universal Declaration of Human Rights… The third commission, which met in Paris at the Palais de Chaillot to write the only document, worked for three months, held eighty-five meetings, listened to thousands of speeches and received two hundred amendments until it reached its last 30 articles.

The rights to life, liberty, tolerance, security, participation, as well as social rights have been anchored in the growing expectation that human rights, reaffirmed and renewable, should be given political paths of continued implementation, transforming this Code of Hope into a historical realization of human values.

No one knows the vicissitudes of the way. The Cold War and its power of deconstruction, systematic selfishness, repeated hunger, shameful suffering, constant violence, gender tyranny, ethnic prejudice and new forms of slavery raged, resulting in discourse that was contrary to human rights. Even a spiritual teacher like Osho, realizing the barbarity around us, blew up Universal Declaration of Human Rightsturning it into a sinister lie, like a lie and hypocrisy, without violating its human rights provisions for the new man.

And another thing: Osho defended the superiority of treating each person as unique and unrepeatable, open to the exercise of citizenship in a world government that recognized the failure of a democracy in which he had the historical courage to opt for meritocracy as finalists. a mechanism for recognizing that the future will be inexorably generated by actors who define it in accordance with the possibilities of their creative and significant historical action.

Humanity’s code of hope, filled with evaluative and democratic meaning, survives. This remains the guiding principle of the School of Humanism, which recognizes that its route is difficult, knowing, however, that it is a great wall against reinvented barbarism, this place of all places, to the detriment of the dream of a better life. proclaimed by Calderón de la Barca, for whom life is a dream.

The Uruguayan writer and thinker Eduardo Galeano is right and absolutely right in our dystopian times when he writes that the meaning of utopia is the ability to walk. This is precisely what the authoritative utopia serves for: to go! What would humanity be if it were not for this multifaceted courage to fight, in spite of all circumstances, for the right to justice, which is denied in all directions and at all latitudes? This is how an impossible freedom was postulated in the world of slavery, which became, in spite of all circumstances, real and possible. With this conditional freedom, it will be possible to postulate real and concrete equality, so much the better, much better, being postulated in the necessary consortium with a high spirit of brotherhood, which in itself is capable of transforming the world, especially the law. …

Thus, with a latitude of 48 years, Universal Declaration of Human Rights He stands for the human condition and his permanent dignity, as a life-giving sign that he serves the cause of the cause, for a more loving life in the world based on respect, dialogue, endless solidarity and the Civilizing construction of life in the world, a dream of dreams, impenetrable for the present barbarism.
