Daughter Harry and Meghan Markle (finally) in line to the throne
BUT Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s youngest daughter, Lilibet Diana, was added to the British royal family’s line of succession this Monday.
BUT updating the list – which puts Lilibet in eighth place after her grandfather (Prince Charles), her uncle (Prince William), her cousins (Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis), her father (Prince Harry) and brother (Archie, two years old) – occurs a few weeks after the birth of the girl.
As a reminder, the Dukes of Sussex welcomed their daughter in early June.
A topic that has been talked about many times due to the absence of the girl’s name on the list
“We have to ask why they are so procrastinating,” ITV’s Chris Ship said on the Royal Rata podcast, referring to the royal family. “All they have to do is hit a button and insert another number in the paragraph. They should have done it earlier. They did it with Archie, ”he added before the list was updated.
