New excerpt from CR7 interview with Piers Morgan revealed

A new excerpt from an interview with Cristiano Ronaldo Piers Morgan has been released, where the Portuguese star said Manchester United management “didn’t believe” that Bella Esmeralda, one of CR7’s daughters, had health problems during pre-season. The Portuguese international assured that this was the reason he was not in the preparation phase and that he would never be able to leave his family in time of need.

“I spoke to the sporting director and the chairman of the board of directors of Manchester United, and in a sense they did not believe that something bad had happened that made me feel bad. They believed, but at the same time… I would never trade the health of my family for football. Now, or even 10 years ago or 10 years from now. And it hurt me a lot, because they doubted my word. I had difficulties, but especially bella [filha] and Gio because they spent a week in the hospital. Bella had serious health problems. And I didn’t go into preseason because of that, because I couldn’t leave my family for preseason. I think it was unfair to leave my family for preseason. That’s why I didn’t go,” the Red Devils player said.

Recall that yesterday the first excerpts from this interview were made public, where Ronaldo said that he felt “betrayed” by Manchester United, and where he stressed: “I do not respect Ten Hag because he did not respect me.”
