Prices continue to fall for craftsman Craig Ferguson’s Craftsman in Hollywood Hills, because comedians and TV hosts have lowered the asking price to $ 4.199 million. This is the fourth price cut since registering the place for $ 6 million early last year.

Ferguson could still benefit from the property; records show he took it for $ 4.1 million in 2012.

Various kinds of buildings meet the private complex, fenced and beautiful garden: the home of 116-year-old Craftsman, two guesthouses and an office. There is a circular entrance with a fountain in front of the field. In the backyard, a wooden deck with a living room and dining room down to the swimming pool.

With three separate houses, this property includes eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Palm trees surround the main house, which features beamed ceilings, hardwood floors, paneled walls, and rows of 4,135 square feet of windows.

Upgrades include a chef’s tiled kitchen and several bathrooms such as a spa, including one with a farmhouse door that privatizes a bathtub. Upstairs, the main room opens onto a spacious terrace, one of two hanging behind a two-story house.

Ferguson, 58, is best known for hosting the show “Late Show with Craig Ferguson” for a decade on CBS. Recently, the Scottish native hosted “Join or Die with Craig Ferguson” and “Celebrity Name Game,” where he won a pair of Emmy Daytime Awards.

In 2013, he sold a 1930s Spanish-style venue in Beachwood Canyon to fellow comedian Chris D’Elia for $ 1.9 million, The Times previously reported.

Dorothy Carter and Michael Orland of Douglas Elliman hold the list.
