“Effective January 1, 2022, new fares for Intercidades, regional, interregional and city services will come into effect. Prices for the Alfa Pendular service remain unchanged, ”CP said in a statement.

For example, a ticket for the Intercidades between Lisboa Oriente and Porto Campanhã, which now costs 25.1 euros in second class, will cost 25.25 euros from January 1, that is, 15 cents more. The same increase was recorded in the case of travel between Lisbon and Faro, also at Intercidades, the price of a second class ticket will now cost € 22.15 compared to the € 22 currently charged.

In the case of Lisbon city trains, the price of one full ticket is kept up to three zones, but starting from four zones it increases by 5 cents. The regular 30-day pass will be increased by 5 cents for both one and two zones.

For city buses in Porto, the price of one full ticket is retained for up to five zones, with the ticket price increasing by 5 cents according to the six zones. However, the price of a regular 30-day pass for zones 1 and 2 will now cost € 33.45 compared to the current € 33.25, in other words, an additional 20 cents.
