Another 90 deaths related to the pandemic were also reported today, according to the Spanish Ministry of Health, bringing the total to 79,801.

Spain’s health services also announced today that 8.2 million people are already fully vaccinated against covid-19 (17.4% of the total population), and 17.0 million have received at least one dose (35.7%) of about 47 , 3 million inhabitants of the country.

According to a report by French agency AFP, the covid-19 pandemic has caused at least 3,475,079 deaths worldwide, resulting in more than 167.1 million infections.

The disease is transmitted by a new coronavirus discovered at the end of 2019 in Wuhan, a city in central China.
