Two years after taking over as the technical command of the Benfica women’s team, Pedro Henriquez announced this Sunday that he had left his position at the Lisbon club on his own initiative, as detailed in a post on Facebook.
“Today my connection with Benfica is terminated on my initiative. Without a doubt, this has been one of the biggest challenges of my career, with great achievements and some adversity that are normal. the club and its fans deserve it. My devotion. I leave feeling like I was struggling to the point of exhaustion. I am very grateful for this opportunity, ”wrote the 45-year-old coach.
