CNN Promotes With Carnal’s Debut And Political Debates

On November 13 at 11:00 pm, historian and professor Leandro Carnal returns to CNN with his new program. Universo Karnal invites you to present reflections and views on everyday topics and issues related to self-knowledge and understanding of today’s societies.

“I’ve always said in lectures that the world of pandemics forces everyone to reinvent themselves. CNN’s Carnal Universe was my personal, hands-on response to the theory I advocated. I think everyone will be surprised, ”says Leandro Carnal in a press statement.

Among the guests of the first season of the program are rapper Dexter, transvestite Ikaro Kadoshi, Fafa de Belén, Amir Klink, Roberta Miranda, Maria Homem, Val Marchiori, Christian Dunker and Gary Sorrizo.

Preparing for the 2022 elections

Already preparing to cover the 2022 race, CNN Brasil will launch CNN Eleições 2022 on November 17 at 21:30. The premiere of the program will include a debate between PSDB’s preliminary candidates for the presidency of the Republic in the next election, João Doria, Eduardo Leite and Artur Virgiliu.

According to the report, 16 people are participating in the project, but all employees and journalists of the station should participate in it until next year. The presentation will be led by Carol Nogueira, and immediately after the debate, there will be an Analysis and Impact Analysis Unit led by Daniela Lima.

The channel, launched in 2020, is covering the presidential election for the first time. According to Vice President of Content Americo Martins, the team’s efforts are focused on providing broad journalistic coverage to the public. “In addition to widespread coverage, we will also focus on targeted debates with fewer attacks and more suggestions,” the statement said.
