Cleo Smith, child missing from camp in Australia, found alive

Cleo Smith was found alive Tuesday, more than two weeks after missing in a camp in Australia… According to police, the four-year-old child was found at night and the man was detained.

Deputy Police Commissioner Colonel Blanche explained that the authorities entered the locked house and found the girl in one of the rooms.

Ellie Smith, Cleo’s mother, was the last person to see the girl. At the time, he remembers waking up at night when his daughter asked for water. When he woke up in the morning, he noticed that the baby and sleeping bag were no longer in the tent.

The case became nationwide and Australia’s top political leaders reacted quickly. This was the case with Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who spoke of “great and encouraging news.”

As for the detainee, he is currently being questioned by the authorities.
