Water on the moon? Right! The Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGGCAS) analyzed the material collected by the Chinese lunar module Chang’E-5. During the study, it was found that there is liquid on the natural satellite.

The study was published in the scientific journal Science Advances saying the amount was 120 parts per million (ppm). And also in another sample, that was a fraction of 180 ppm.

These samples have not been analyzed since 1976 on Earth. However, with the active space race in China, there will be further development of aerospace technology.

Later this year, the Americans and Russians will carry out two mission flights to the moon. NASA wants to send a manned mission to the site by 2025.

China recently announced the first woman to take part in a spacewalk, Wang Yaping, to install a suspension vehicle and transition connectors.

“This is the first spacewalk by the Shenzhou 13 crew, and the first walk in Chinese space history with a female astronaut,” the China Space Agency said in a statement. “The process went smoothly and successfully,” the agency added.
