Actor Fabiano Augusto really wanted to return to the stage. Roberto Gomez Bolanos. In an exclusive interview with the column, Fabiano Augusto says he was fascinated by reading the biography of Chespirito (Bolaños’ artistic name) and comparing their trajectories: “I found that his story is similar to mine. We got on TV “unintentionally”. We are both introspective, not very violent. Bolanos was a very simple man, he did not like to draw attention to himself. Shy, but transformed when playing characters. It was very similar to me.”.

The show, which returns in the month that marks the eight year anniversary of Bolaños’ death, sets the moment when the comedian arrives in heaven, more specifically Palhaceu, where he is received by Brazilian clowns and reminisced about his career as a writer and screenwriter. until he took on his most famous characters, Chavez and Chapolin. The spectacle, launched in 2019, made more than 35,000 people laugh and cry as it recalled the village and the emotional encounter between the creator Bolanos and the creature Chavez. The musical tribute was a big winner of the 2021 Bibi Ferreira Award with five trophies.
