British Army commander: ‘We must be ready to fight in Europe’

The UK must have an army capable of fighting in Europe, the new commander of the British army told the military. Patrick Sanders, who took office on Monday, warned the army about the need for the UK to be ready to fight Russia.

“We are the generation that must prepare the army for new battles in Europe. Now it is imperative to prepare an army capable of fighting alongside our allies and defeating Russia, ”he said in an address to the troops published by the British press.
