19-year-old midfielder Diogo Abreu, who moved from Porto to Sporting, said goodbye to the blue and white club through social networks, thereby officially ending a 10-year relationship.

“Portistas, today ends the cycle of my life and my short career. My association with Futebol Clube do Porto is ending. Those were the years when I experienced unforgettable moments that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Great years of long learning, many joys and great growth as a player, but above all as a person. I want to thank everyone who was involved in this process, from the coaches to all the staff, physios, doctors, management and teammates, many of whom will always carry in my heart. Thanks also to the fans who have always shown me great affection. 10 years is not 10 days… Thank you Futebol Clube do Porto. “Great things will happen,” he wrote.

Diogo Abreu at the end of his contract has scored 11 games and 8 goals for the juniors and 9 games and 1 goal for the Dragons’ B team this season.
