Argentina won the Copa Finalissima for the second time in the competition’s history, beating Italy 3–0 in a one-way game, with Albiceleste’s team completely dominating.

Messi, Di Maria and Lautaro Martinez were in the spotlight, forming a deadly trident that just didn’t do more damage because Donnarumma was in a great plan between the posts.

The first goal was signed by Martinez served by Messi and the second was Di Maria’s kick, of course, which has already trained the fans to shine in the finals. Messi landed several shots on goal, but failed to beat the number 21, being involved in a game in which Dybala closed the scoring.

Let’s say Argentina are 32 games unbeaten in the best current string in the world, and Italy, who will not be at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, is looking to regain their pride after a humiliating elimination against North Macedonia (0-1).

Remember the game video:

90+4′: Game over! Party – Argentina, debuting with a victory at Wembley after three defeats and as many draws.

90+4′: Golo da Argentina (3-0): Dybala!

90+1′: Argentina play Lo Celso, Dybala enters and Di Maria replaces Nicolás González.

90′: Four more minutes to be played.

87′: Alvarez (Argentina) gets in a strike, but Donnarumma’s finish is wide of the goal.

84′: Change in Argentina: Lautaro Martinez out, Alvarez in; Romero exits, Pezzella enters.

77′: Barella receives a yellow card.

77′: Emerson leaves for Bastogne with another substitution for Italy.

76′: Substitution in Argentina: Paul out, Palacios in.

The game entered the last quarter of an hour.

74′: Messi free kick over the bar.

72′: Yellow card for Di Lorenzo (Italy) after Messi’s ‘reversal’.

69′: Another throw from Messi, Donnarumma saved the third.

The results are beginning to please…

67′: Messi again… Donnarumma is busy.

65′: Messi in the minority defends as Donnarumma can!

Italy is going through a real suffocation.

64′: What a failure for Lo Celso after Messi’s pass to the far post.

62′: Substitution in Italy for Pessina incoming for Spinazzola.

62′: Di Maria’s first shot to “shake” Donnarumma.

61′: Di Maria hit, got the better of Emerson and forced Donnarumma to warm up.

59′: Locatelli shot, Emiliano Martinez holding up well.

56′: What a risky move by Bonucci that nearly betrayed Donnarumma…

Italy and Argentina have already met each other 15 times, the Italians are ahead (six wins against four losses), but the Albiceleste team was a black beast blue team this millennium (the last victory of Italy with a score of 3:1 took place in a friendly match in Zurich on June 10, 1987).

Argentina presses high, leaning on the opponent, leaving no room for the Italians to maneuver.

Chiellini (center), 37, says goodbye to blue team after 117 matches and eight goals since 2004.

46′: The second half has begun.

Mancini mexe na equipa: you know Chiellini, Lazzari enters; you know Bernardeschi, enter Locatelli; You know Belotti, enter Scmacca.

45+2′: Break at Wembley. Argentines lead the league table.

45+1′: Argentina goal (2-0): Angel di Maria, Lautaro Martinez pass.

39′: Yellow card to Bonucci for fouling Messi.

28′: Argentina goal: Lautaro Martinez, pass to Messi, who survived the duel with Di Lorenzo!

25′: Messi’s kick against Bonucci.

24′: Raspadori (Italy) hits the wall with a free-kick and gets a corner from Bernardeschi on the rebound.

23′: Yellow card from Otamendi (Argentina) for a foul on Emerson.

21′: Belotti (Italy) heads from a free-kick, forcing Martinez to shine.

20′: Raspadori (Italy) takes a corner. Otamendi fouls.

Angel di Maria, saying goodbye to the Argentina national team after the World Cup in Qatar, creates a lot of imbalances on the right flank of the attack.

17′: Free-kick by Jorginho after a foul by Martinez (Argentina) on Bernardeschi (Italy).

12′: Struck Raspadori (Italy), but Emiliano Martinez confidently coped with the task.

In those first ten minutes, Argentina were more aggressive.

It should be noted that FIFA still does not recognize this competition, which already had two editions: 1985 (France beat Uruguay 2:0 in Paris) and 1993 (Argentina beat Denmark 5:4 in a penalty shootout after 1:1 ). for 120 minutes in Mar del Plata).

6′: Free kick taken by Messi, intercepted by Di Lorenzo.

Finalissima is a one-game match without extra time, in case of a tie the winner is determined by penalties.

2′: Messi’s first shot on goal was from the side.

1′: Rola bola.

The field is chosen by captains Chiellini (Italy) and Messi (Argentina).

Italy (European champion) and Argentina (South American champion, i.e. winner of the America’s Cup) will play from 19:45 this Wednesday in the so-called Finalíssima at the mythical Wembley Stadium in England.

The Chilean Piero Gomez is the referee, his assistants are compatriots Christian Schiemann and Claudio Rios, and the fourth referee is the Spaniard Jesús Gil Manzano.
