Big E: “I’m disappointed with my rule”

Big E lost WWE Championship for Brock Lesnar No 1 day and he’s away from the title fight, so now the question is up in the air if we’ll see the New Day fighter win the world title again.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Big E revealed that he is disappointed with his reign as WWE Champion.

I wanted it to be a complete meal and more of a snack. Firstly, I am too critical of my work, so I cannot say that I was satisfied with my rule. I was hoping to do an amazing job, but I was a little wrong. So it motivates to start over.

I don’t feel comfortable being just a fighter in compound… I don’t like going back to what it was before.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed that it ended this way. And that’s nothing against Brock. Brock Lesnar is an athlete and a very special person. He is not ashamed to lose.

I took a moment to feel sad. Winning highs like Money In The Bank or when I won the title were incredible, but the lows are shitty too. And I motivate myself with this.

This is my opportunity to show the other side of myself. It’s time to turn up the intensity. My role in New Day is often a little comical, but I don’t want to be one-dimensional. I want to be as perfect a fighter as possible.

Do you think Big E is right about giving up on his reign as WWE Champion?
