Vanity Fair Says Actor Robert Pattinson Tests Positive For Coronavirus – Days After Resuming Filming

Filming for Batman has been suspended again a few days after it resumed following a coronavirus lockdown.

According to US media reports, the pause in filming, confirmed by Warner Bros., is due to lead actor Robert Pattinson testing positive for the virus.

Warner Bros said that one of the members of the production group is self-isolating, but did not specify who exactly.

Filming began in Glasgow earlier this year, but was halted due to the pandemic.

A studio spokeswoman said: “A contributor to the production of Batman has tested positive for Covid-19 and is being isolated according to established protocols. Filming is temporarily suspended. “

Vanity Fair said 34-year-old British actor Pattinson contracted the virus just days after resuming filming near London after a six-month filming delay.

Batman was originally supposed to be released in June 2021, but has been delayed until October 2021.

In the latest film, directed by Matt Reeves, Twilight star Pattinson follows in the footsteps of Christian Bale, Ben Affleck and George Clooney as the superhero of Gotham City.

Pattinson, who also co-stars in the current hit movie Tenet, did not comment on the post.
