BALL – Sporting – Benfica: Follow title decision (Futsal)

Sporting CP and Benfica will face each other this Saturday (21:00) in the first leg of the futsal championship final. This will be the sixth derby of the season to be won by the Lions (three of which have been titles for Nuno Diaz’s side) and one by the Eagles.

Regular stage leader Sporting (who are in contention for a second title in a row) left Azemeish and Fundau en route to the final. Benfica (want to bring back the trophy that has been eluding since 2019) overtook Leoens de Porto Salvo and Electrico to make the decision.

49′: Yellow card sent to Andre Souza (Benfica). This prevented Eric Mendonce (Sporting) from applying.
